Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to a psychotherapist Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a retired real estate developer with a grandfather who moved to Greece in 1904 and whose grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki also has Polish ancestry.Psaki graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, Psaki graduated from College of William & Mary. She earned an education in English as well as sociology. She is an active Chi Omega member. Psaki was a backstroke swimmer on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two consecutive years. Psaki's career path began in 2001 when she was involved in the re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was later named deputy press secretary for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki will be serving as a Political Analyst during the 2022 United States Presidential Elections. In 2023, she will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel.
